Decent custom shirt, minor fit issue

I got a custom dress shirt, and it was mostly great. The fabric felt nice, and the overall quality seemed good for the price. Shipping took a bit longer than I expected, around 3 weeks to get to me in California, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. My only real gripe is the sleeves were just a tad long, nothing a quick trip to a local tailor couldn't fix. Still, for a custom shirt, I hoped it would be perfect right out of the box. What's the deal with returns if the suit doesn't fit right? Is it a pain or pretty straightforward?

They have a fit guarantee. You get it altered locally and they reimburse you for the cost, up to a certain amount. I had to do it once and it was pretty easy to claim.

Returns for custom stuff are usually tough with any company. But for MST, it's more about the alteration credit. If it's totally off, you'd contact support, but usually it's just getting it tweaked locally.

Nah, pretty sure you can't stack 'em. Most places like this, it's one code per order. Check the fine print, but usually if you have a bundle price or specific deal, other codes don't apply.

I've used both. Indochino has more physical stores for measuring, which is nice. But My Suit Tailor's online measurement guide was super clear, and I found their fit guarantee process a bit smoother if you need adjustments.

Yeah, that sounds about right. They say 3 weeks production, then shipping. NYC probably similar to other big cities. I'd add a week just in case for any minor alterations if you're picky.
